• Ironman China Registration Fee is USD $470 (there are no additional registration or processing fees). Any registered competitor who withdraws prior to February 20, 2009 will receive a refund in the amount of USD $150. No refunds will be offered after
  February 20, 2009.
  
  
• Ironman 70.3 China Registration Fee is USD $200 plus Active.com processing fees. Any registered competitor who withdraws prior to February 20, 2009 will receive a refund in the amount of USD $80. No refunds will be offered after February 20, 2009.
  
  
• Ironman 70.3 China Relay Registration Fee is USD $250 per team plus Active.com processing fees. Any registered team withdrawing prior to February 19, 2009 will receive a refund in the amount of USD $80. No refunds will be offered after February 20, 2009.
  
  
• Registration requires execution of a General Release and Waiver by all participants including all three relay team members.
  
  
• All participants must confirm their on-line registration in person at race Registration in Haikou. The location and hours of race Registration are detailed under the schedule pages.
  
  
• In-person confirmation of registration requires presentation of your passport. Chinese citizens need only provide their national identity card.
  
  
• Payment of a refundable deposit fee of USD $20 may be required at Registration Center for the ChampionChip used for timing. If you have your own ChampionChip, you may use it, but only after demonstrating to Registration Center personnel that is in working condition.
  
  
• All age group athletes must enter and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete's age on December 31 of the year of the event.
